Featured Artist - Susan
Blair Truex
Susan Truex majored in fine arts at MTSU and is a native of Tennessee.
She has worked as a cartoonist and an illustrator, and in 1998
she established Truex Studio where she paints on commission,
and teaches drawing and painting.
Susan has displayed a wide range of creative
interests with a major focus on painting and clay sculptures.
She maintains a strong, primary interest in figurative art and
paints in oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastel.
Susan's paintings have garnered a number of
awards and are included in both corporate and private collections.
Her sculptures and paintings can be seen in several galleries
throughout the south.
Susan currently lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee
with her husband Don and stepson John Paul.
