Watercolor artist Anita Hoodless paints a
variety of subjects in an interpretive realistic style. Her large
still lifes and florals reflect her love of bold color and strong
value contrasts. She also enjoys painting the reflective qualities
of glass and silver. Two national publications, American Artist
Watercolor Magazine and Watercolor Magic, recently featured articles
on Anita's work and methods. Several of her paintings were published
in the recent book, Huntsville Sketch Book. She did the poster
painting for the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Run in 2005. Anita
is a signature (artist) member of the National Watercolor Society,
and of the Kentucky, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Alabama and
Southern Watercolor Societies. Her paintings are in many collections
throughout the United States and abroad.
